Lonoke County Fatal Accident Victim Identified
The victim of a fatal accident on Sunday in Lonoke County has been identified as 57-year-old Stacey Moore, according to the Arkansas Department of Public Safety. The crash occurred on Interstate 40, just west of Lonoke.
Authorities reported that Moore’s vehicle was struck from behind by another driver. The impact caused both vehicles to collide with trees, and Moore’s car rolled over after hitting one of the trees. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the other vehicle sustained injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The Arkansas Department of Transportation stated that the westbound lanes of I-40 were closed for more than two hours while crews worked to clear the scene.
Officials noted that the weather was clear and the road was dry at the time of the accident. The investigation into the crash remains ongoing. Further details will be released as they become available.
