Las Vegas Police Arrest Son in Fatal Shooting of Father
A shocking murder case has unfolded in the southeast valley of Las Vegas, where a 35-year-old son, Timothy La, has been arrested for allegedly shooting and killing his elderly father. The incident occurred on Wednesday evening at their residence in the 5300 block of Caprock Canyon.
Responding to a call at approximately 6:18 p.m., officers initially suspected the cause of death to be natural. However, further examination revealed suspicious circumstances, leading investigators to discover that the victim had sustained a gunshot wound while at home with his son.
According to preliminary investigations, La shot his father and then left the residence, only to return later and be taken into custody on murder charges. The motive behind the shooting is still unclear, and the investigation is ongoing.
