Teenager Killed, Five Others Injured in Woodland Hills House Party Shooting
Los Angeles, CA – A fatal shooting at a house party in Woodland Hills early Sunday morning has left a 16-year-old boy dead and five other men injured.
The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) responded to reports of a shooting at a large upscale residence in the 5900 block of Winnetka Avenue at approximately 1:30 a.m. on February 9, 2025.
According to investigators, an altercation occurred in the home’s basement, prompting a bouncer or security guard to escort the suspect out of the home. As they reached the first floor, the suspect opened fire on the dance floor, striking multiple people.
The shooter fled the scene on foot and remains at large. The LAPD is urging anyone with information to come forward.
A 16-year-old male victim died at the scene. Five other male victims, ranging in age from 18 to 36, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to local hospitals for treatment.
