Baton Rouge Police Arrest 59-Year-Old Man in Connection with Fatal Shooting
Baton Rouge, LA – A 59-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a shooting that left one person dead, according to the Baton Rouge Police Department.
Jonathan Christopher was taken into custody on Tuesday, February 4, and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on charges of second-degree murder, illegal use of weapons, and aggravated criminal damage to property.
The shooting occurred on Friday, January 31, at approximately 9 p.m. on Oswego Street near Plank Road. Police found 37-year-old Robert Hills shot inside a vehicle, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
