It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Allyson Fahey, who passed away peacefully on Monday, March 3, 2025, after a long and brave battle with Motor Neuron Disease (MND). Allyson was surrounded by her loving family at Kolora Aged Care in Guyra, NSW during her final moments.
Allyson, known for her warmth, generosity, and strength, will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She touched the hearts of all who knew her, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion.

A celebration of Allyson’s life will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025, at Piddington’s, Uralla Road, Armidale, at 11 AM. For those unable to attend in person, the service will be live-streamed, with details and a link available on the Piddington’s website.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to Motor Neuron Disease (MND) Australia, with a link available through the tribute page on the Piddington’s website.
It has been a privilege for the family to have shared a lifetime with such a remarkable sister, and Allyson’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
