Atlanta, GA – The Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School community is reeling from the sudden and tragic loss of eighth-grader Amaya Labella, a 13-year-old student who took her own life after struggling with depression and anxiety.
According to those who knew her, Amaya was a bright and compassionate young girl, known for her kindness, intelligence, and creative spirit. Despite her outward strength, she silently battled mental health challenges.
