Jackson Police Department Mourns the Loss of Corporal Christopher Gallion, Sr.
Jackson, MS – With profound sadness, the Jackson Police Department announces the untimely passing of Corporal Christopher Gallion, Sr., Badge #1775. Affectionately known as “Sir Gallion,” he was a proud graduate of the “Mighty 43rd” Jackson Police Department Recruit Class and a dedicated 17-year veteran of law enforcement.
Throughout his career, Corporal Gallion served with honor, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to protecting and serving his community. His leadership, mentorship, and kindness left a lasting impact on both his colleagues and the residents of Jackson. He was not only a guardian of the law but also a role model, friend, and source of inspiration to those who had the privilege of knowing him.
The Jackson Police Department, along with his family, friends, and fellow officers, deeply mourns his passing. His presence will be profoundly missed, but his legacy of service and sacrifice will forever be remembered.
