Kansas City Man Fatally Stabbed in Early Morning Incident
Kansas City, MO – A 23-year-old man has died after being stabbed in an incident that authorities believe began as a verbal dispute and escalated into physical violence.
Kansas City Police Department officers responded to a residence in the 500 block of Quincy Avenue around 2 a.m. Tuesday after receiving reports of a cutting. Upon arrival, they found a man with apparent stab wounds, who was rushed to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
The victim has been identified as Darrell McKelby. A woman is currently in custody for questioning in connection with the incident.
