Two Deceased Individuals Identified in Glazebrook Street Incident, Investigated as Possible Murder-Suicide
The Nueces County Medical Examiner’s Office has officially identified the two individuals found deceased inside a home in the 600 block of Glazebrook Street on Monday. The victims have been named as 60-year-old David Alexander and 62-year-old Karen Alexander.
Authorities are investigating the case as a potential murder-suicide. Corpus Christi Police Department (CCPD) Senior Officer Antonio Contreras stated on Monday that the investigation is still in its early stages. “A weapon was recovered at the scene,” Contreras confirmed.
While initial evidence suggests a murder-suicide, the exact circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. “It appears to point toward a murder-suicide, but we are still working to determine what led up to this tragic event,” Contreras added.
WEANOUZ spoke with a man at the scene who described the situation as “very disturbing.” Further details are expected as the investigation progresses.
