Two Arrested in Connection with Death of 15-Year-Old Boy in New Rochelle
A disturbing incident in New Rochelle has led to the arrest of two individuals, including a minor, following the discovery of a deceased 15-year-old boy on Thursday morning.
Hugo Perez-Gabriel, 32, of New Rochelle, has been charged with concealing a human corpse and endangering the welfare of a child. A 16-year-old juvenile, whose identity has not been disclosed, faces charges of concealing a human corpse and possession of a forged instrument in the second degree.
The incident was reported at the intersection of Charles Street and Washington Avenue at approximately 6:15 a.m. on Thursday. The victim, identified as 15-year-old Jonson Temaj, was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Medical Examiner’s Office is currently investigating the cause and manner of death.
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are working to determine the circumstances surrounding Temaj’s death.
