A former doctoral student at the University of Kansas, Paul built an outstanding career as a professor at the University of Alaska Anchorage, where he inspired countless students with his passion for history and learning. Beyond his academic achievements, he was known for his warm personality, generous spirit, and unwavering optimism. His unforgettable voice, sharp sense of humor, and incredible talent for writing made a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
