Today, we bid farewell to our dear friend and dedicated volunteer, Stuart Castles, who passed away suddenly just a few days ago, shortly after celebrating his 60th birthday last Sunday. His loss has left a deep void in all of us who knew him.
Stuart became part of The Pringle Club family when he generously offered his help in response to a volunteer appeal I made. We had first met Stuart through his work with Stepping Stones when Paul joined the program, and I was thrilled when he reached out to volunteer with us. From the very beginning, Stuart’s kindness, compassion, and ability to connect with others were clear. He brought out the best in everyone, especially in one-on-one interactions with club members, creating bonds that will not be forgotten.
His absence will be profoundly felt at The Pringle Club, where his warmth and dedication touched all our hearts. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, daughters, and especially his beloved granddaughter Eliza, who Stuart often spoke of with so much love and pride.
Stuart’s legacy of selflessness and kindness will continue to inspire us, and he will always be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
